LONI TWiki

The LONI Resource utilizes an enterprise groupware platform, Twiki, to facilitate collaboration and foster cross-pollination of ideas across multiple research groups. Twiki, based on the notion of "open editing," allows users to freely create and edit Web page content using any Web browser. It supports hyperlinks and has a simplified text syntax for creating new pages and crosslinks between internal pages on the fly. Content is maintained by LONI Resource research groups, thus eliminating the "one webmaster syndrome" of outdated and insufficient intranet content and ensures that content for dynamic projects are up-to-date.
